Mr. Richard Enfield is a gentleman who is very kind, caring and firm person He is also helpful because he helps to settle the problem between Mr. Hyde and Eddie's family. He stops Mr. Hyde from running away from the incident. He makes sure that Mr. hyde pays compensation of 100 pounds to Eddie's family for trampling over Eddie. He is also suspicious of Mr. Hyde when he saw the signature on the cheque that was given to Eddie's father. he was sure that Mr. Hyde is blackmailing Dr. Jekyll.
